Special Animal Crossing 3DS interview with Katsuya Eguchi and other developers.

After Nintendo's 3DS TGS presentation, many interviews were being held with their creators, including Animal Crossing 3DS. The whole interview was mostly describing how well the online functionality and customization options will work. They also revealed a couple of sketches of animals & their expressions, along with a very valuable image of a basic town layout. The town layout suggests the train is returning. The beach also wraps around three sides of your town, with one side crossing under a large bridge in which only the train ventures on. There's a small crossing in the middle of the train tracks, allowing you to access many building locations with what seems to be an expansion to the town, with a city area way in the back. In the water shows many miniature islands, and one large island far away that suggests the return of Animal Island. There seems to be some activity going on over there, so I believe you can swim to it. There's also an image of Kapp'n in a small boat (from Animal Crossing on the GameCube), so perhaps you can take a ride with him instead of swimming. To the very right side of the map shows a cave entrance against the wall, which could mean there's more to access that's not visible at this point. You can view the map right here.
