Back in September, we were given a new Animal Crossing 3DS trailer and interview video. Unfortunately, both videos were in Japanese and were in some cases poorly translated. Well, we have an official English version of that special interview video, which reveals much more about the upcoming Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 3DS. We find out in this video that Tom Nook is no longer a shop owner, but is now a real estate agent. We also find out that if you pass over the train tracks, the many buildings back there in that hub shown on the new map are model homes. Model homes will appear there from passing other Nintendo 3DS owners that also have a copy of Animal Crossing 3DS with StreetPass enabled. You can then see their home and maybe even consider stealing some designing ideas from them! Another thing mentioned in this video is that beyond those train tracks is also a shopping mall. Nothing beyond that was discussed, but I'm sure with 2012 approaching quickly, we should be hearing more information in no time. There are many more neat little features that are being added to this game that are included in the above video, but I just wanted to mention one last thing: Shizu is what Nintendo are calling the secretary dog that follows you around. Now, they are saying that's her name, but I guess we'll have to wait and see when more information is revealed. Keep on checking back here often at Animal Crossing Forest for all Animal Crossing news!
COME OUT ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
